Here are my precious twins!

Hi there, my name is Alissa Walsh. I am the proud stay at home momma of beautiful twins born on May 26th, 2013. Luke and Julia have brought us double the joy, double the love, double the diapers, and they have doubled our opportunities to make memories and grow in faith and love. There is never a dull moment in our household, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!

DIY Mom of Twins was created as a means of encouragement for moms, while becoming a resource for creative ideas, budget friendly savings, humorous stories, and real life applications of biblical principles. You can follow me here on WordPress by clicking the ‘Follow’ at the top of my homepage. You can also find me on Pinterest at Alissa Walsh.
Here are some snapshots of my family:

This is my ruggedly handsome husband, Matt. When we met he was a radio DJ. Now he is a well know blogger. Check out his blog when you get a chance, www.themattwalshblog.com

He thought the Mr. Peanut look was a must. Thankfully, I convinced him to loose the hat, cane, and gloves for the ceremony.

I had to share this. You sacrifice so much as a mom and your body is not an exception. You have to embrace every part of your being. Here I am, as big as a whale, the day I gave birth to my beautiful babies. The bulges are hilarious. Clearly, I do not have the perfectly round baby bump. I embrace and love myself as God loves me. I may never get my body back to exactly the way it was and that's okay.
